The system's risk engine evaluates the declaration against a matrix of rules: cargo type, declared value, HS code, importer history, origin country, and carrier profile. This determines which channel your shipment enters.

A risk channel is assigned
Based on the risk score, ASYCUDA assigns one of three channels: green, yellow, or red. The channel determines what happens next -- from automatic release to full physical inspection.

Duties are calculated and paid
ASYCUDA calculates duties and taxes based on the CIF value and applicable tariff rates. Your transitaire arranges payment through the Madagascar treasury system. Once paid, the cargo release order is generated.
